The rig at clearly shows a different acoustic guitar. If you have any additional pics or updates, please email them to me! pretty sure this is the acoustic guitar Trey is actually playing live. ![]() Great video.I would like to thank Brian Brian Brown (Trey's tech) and Glenn Goldstein from Hard Truckers for the updates. Mike Houser was similar too.miss that guy a ton. Carlos Santana is generally the same way, Steve Morse too (albeit without as good or "natural" a sound as the others mentioned). Real basic set-up that he knew perfectly. Lastly, I think he's spot on about the quantity of gear versus how well you know your the gear you have. The Mesa Boogie Mark III - long a staple of Trey's rig - was nowhere to be found at LOCKN'. Not a great family feel from an outsider's perspective. I thought Paul wasn't brought back because he was building guitars full time now, but I didn't realize that the whole of the sound crews were dropped. That said, I know nothing as I'd only heard it from him and he wasn't an insider. Interestingly he had picked up on before he heard about, because he noticed that their shows were starting to meander in a not great way and that things weren't as focused for a couple of years before Trey was outed for using. And while that may been his role, my friend was really pissed when he heard Trey was using and causing issues. He always assume Trey was the clear headed leader that held everything together. I had a friend that became a total Phishead and I remember how disappointed he was when he heard that Trey was the center of the band parting ways. Trey was great, but Tim was better for me (Reynolds is wickedly under-appreciated). These are, from left to right, the CAE Vibe and Super Tremolo. If you have any additional pics or updates, please email them to me In the 4th rack space of Trey's rack he has 2 effects. I saw Trey on the Dave Matthews and Friends tour at Pedofile State.errr, I mean Penn State in December of 2003. Trey's Rig I would like to thank Brian Brian Brown (Trey's tech) and Glenn Goldstein from Hard Truckers for the updates. I'm not a fan of their music, but I know they are all top notch players. ![]() Click to expand. That's really cool, I would love to hear more about them. ![]()
